| General Description: Our goal for the Fishers Art Council is to: 1) Stimulate increased participation in, and access to, the arts, emphasizing music, the visual arts, dance, literature and cultural events by and for the Fishers community; 2) Advance community support for arts programs and local understanding of the benefits of the arts to community life; 3) Recommending and/or securing private funding sources and projects for the town of Fishers; and Increase the capacity of the Fishers community, community organizations and citizens to use the arts to affect positive community change and image.
