ElderSource of Greater Indianapolis   City: Indianapolis   General Description: ElderSource is a network of coordinated services provided to older adults in the greater Indianapolis area. With its partner agencies, ElderSource offers a range of services to support and assist older adults and their families as they adapt to the aging process. In June, the Albert and Sara Reuben ElderSource program celebrated a year of providing services through Indianapolis’ only Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC). And since July 3, all elderly and resettlement services are being handled by ElderSource.
 
Flanner House of Indianapolis   City: Indianapolis   General Description: In-Home Service: Serves the elderly, frail and disabled with light housekeeping and life-essential errands, so they may remain in their homes as opposed to institutionalized care. Senior Center: Hot lunch four times a week Aerobic classes Ceramics Shopping trips Seminars on a variety of topics Safe place to remain active and enjoy the fellowship of others Special celebrations, shows, presentations and feasts. This includes Black History Month, Women's History etc.
 
Fletcher Place Community Center   City: Indianapolis   General Description: Fletcher Place Ministries mission is to break the cycle of poverty through the compassion of Jesus Christ. We provide programs that help with immediate needs for food and clothing and with long term solutions through life skills, literacy and computer classes. All of our programs are free to those in need - the cost is covered through donations. We are a faith based non profit organization - your gifts are tax deductible and can be made through our secure donation page on this website.

HCSS provides two transportation systems, a lunch program, workshops, computer classes, travel and many other activities along with a fitness center.
 
Heritage Place of Indianapolis, Inc.   City: Indianapolis   General Description: Heritage Place provides offers 6 programs for older adults. 1) CAREGIVER SUPPORT SERVICES - We offer private consultations, consumer materials, referrals and general information for caregivers of older adults. 2) CARE MANAGEMENT - Trained staff assess the needs of older adults and provide case management and referrals. 3) FRIENDLY VISITING - Trained volunteers and staff visit homebound elderly to support their well-being. 4) HOME & YARD WORK - We provide light house cleaning and seasonal yard work services. 5) SENIOR CENTER - Open Monday through Friday, we offer a wide variety of interesting classes, educational programs, health services and social events. 6) TRANSPORTATION - Through volunteers and staff, we offer limited transportation to medical appointments, one-day trips, grocery shopping and Senior Center classes.

Shepherd's Center Mid-North   City: Indianapolis   General Description: The Mid-North Shepherd's Center, a proud affiliate of Shepherd's Centers of America, was started in 1982, and is a viable entity in the Indianapolis Community. Older adults from across the city and outlying suburbs attend Adventures in Learning, a mini-university held each Wednesday. Day-trips, language classes, rehearsals for our performing choral group and handbell choir round out the weekly schedule.
