| General Description: Our shelter takes in hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Feeding, cleaning, and treating this many animals requires some skill, a lot of patience, and true dedication. The staff at MCHS has these and other fine qualities, yet there just are not enough hours in the day for them to adequately care for every animal at the shelter by themselves. This is where our volunteers become priceless.
