| General Description: Dress for Success Indianapolis (DFSI) is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. DFSI was granted its charter in May 1999 to the founding Executive Director, Ms. Talene Shuck.
Currently, DFSI operates two programs, Suits for Success and Professional Women's Group. Suits for Success has been in operation since 2000, when the first client was suited. Professional Women's Group (PWG) launched in April 2006. As of April 2007, more than 2,900 women have been served. An anticipated 850 women will be served in 2007 alone.
